The Pomorski family feels the climate (Pomorscy czują klimat!) is an education and information campaign launched by the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Gdańsk (Wojewódzki Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Gdańsku) to raise the environmental awareness of both visitors and residents of the region of Pomerania (Pomorze). As many as 93% of the region’s inhabitants take pride in their immediate surroundings and enjoy the beauty of local nature. The target of this campaign is to promote good habits in life for the sake of the environment.
The campaign is built around a congenial Pomorski family which faces pretty grave serious challenges. They will learn how to prudently use the shrinking water and energy resources and how to preserve air quality. They will come to understand that people produce too much waste and that responsible waste management helps to recover the better part of raw materials. And that it is important to care for biodiversity as well.
Everyone can become a member of the Pomorski family! Each one of you can contribute to the sustainable development of the Pomerania Region.
